Who writes the guides on this site, and the rules we hold ourselves to.
Who we are
The guides here are written by the same small team that runs the service and answers the support email. That is deliberate: the person explaining why your Fire Stick buffers is the person who has read the last few hundred support tickets about it.
We work in English and French, and we are focused entirely on the Canadian market — Canadian networks, Canadian internet providers, Canadian prices.
Rules we follow
- No invented numbers. If we quote a speed, a price or a measurement, it is real. Where we cannot verify something, we say so rather than filling the gap.
- No fake reviews. Our reviews section stays empty until real customers fill it. Anonymous five-star quotes cost nothing to write and prove nothing.
- We publish the parts that do not suit us. Our comparison guide is written so you can use it against us, and our cable comparison lists three things cable genuinely does better.
- Guides are updated, not backdated. When we revise a page we change the date because the content changed, not to look fresh.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it — help@supportiptv.ca. That includes prices, channel availability and technical claims. We would rather be corrected than quoted incorrectly.
