Our position

NWEP does not host, originate, produce, encode or store any of the audio or video content delivered through the service. Content is supplied by third-party providers. What we operate is the subscriber accounts and the delivery infrastructure that connects you to them.

We respect the rights of copyright owners and we act on properly substantiated notices.

Sending us a notice

If you own rights in material you believe is being made available through our service without authorisation, email help@supportiptv.ca with the subject line DMCA Notice. Please include all of the following:

  1. Your full name, company, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed. Where several works are involved, a representative list is acceptable.
  3. Identification of the specific material — the channel name, stream identifier or exact URL. A general complaint about a category cannot be acted on.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that under penalty of perjury you are the owner or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices — particularly ones that do not identify specific material — are returned with a note saying exactly what is missing, so you can refile quickly.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, send a counter-notice to the same address including your contact details, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. We forward counter-notices to the complaining party.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, without refund, the accounts of subscribers who repeatedly record, redistribute or rebroadcast content delivered through the service. This is also set out in our terms of service.

Misuse of this process

Filing a knowingly false notice carries legal consequences for the filer. We keep a record of every notice received and every action taken.
