The right regional feed
Sportsnet splits by region, and from Toronto the one you want is Sportsnet Ontario — that is where Leafs coverage lives. TSN4 is the Toronto-area TSN feed. A service that only carries a generic national feed will let you down on game night.

Three teams, overlapping seasons
Leafs, Blue Jays and Raptors mean that from autumn through spring there are nights when two are on at once. That is the honest argument for a 2-device plan rather than 1.

Condo Wi-Fi is the real enemy
Downtown and midtown, a huge share of households are in towers where dozens of routers fight over the same channels. If 4K stutters in a condo, the cause is usually the Wi-Fi, not the stream — run an ethernet cable to the Fire Stick if you can.
