Which player
IPTV Smarters and GSE Smart IPTV are both in the App Store and both take Xtream Codes credentials. iOS is stricter than Android, so stick to a supported player rather than hunting for alternatives.

Xtream Codes, not M3U
Choose the Xtream Codes login. It loads the programme guide automatically. Paste the server URL, username and password from your activation email exactly as they appear.

AirPlay works
Start a stream on the iPhone and AirPlay it to an Apple TV or a compatible Smart TV. Handy, though installing the player directly on the Apple TV is steadier for a long match.

Low Power Mode throttles it
If playback stutters only when the battery is low, that is iOS throttling — not the stream.
Mobile data, honestly
About 1.4 GB per hour at 720p and roughly 3.6 GB per hour at 1080p. A full hockey game on cellular in 1080p will use around 11 GB. Drop the quality in the player when you are off Wi-Fi, and keep 4K for home.
